Built around the middle of the eighteenth century this stone built self catering house has been fully renovated to the highest of standards. Outside Vallay House is in a beautiful spot very close to the coast of South Harris (literally a few minutes walk away). Surrounded by the most wonderful countryside populated by Highland Cattle, Blackface Sheep and plenty of bird life, there is also a dry stane walled garden with a seating area which is extremely sheltered and very private.
Inside Vallay House you will find a spacious living area (show to the right) with a galley kitchen leading through to a well lit dining room. Also downstairs is one of the three bedrooms (single), double shower room and toilet.
Upstairs at Vallay House, Scarista, are the two further bedrooms. The double bedroom shown to the left has a dressing room, accessed by the doorway you can see in the photograph.
The upstairs bathroom has a bath, shower & toilet.
